The true beauty of the universe is hidden from us. By day it is overwhelmed by light from the sun, by night it is often obscured by clouds, the moon or by man-made light pollution. Even on a perfect night the sheer distance and faintness of cosmic objects make them invisible. Astrophotography reveals these wonders.
